Specialist - Fixed Assets

Job Description: 

 

Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities: 

 

As a Sr. Specialist-Fixed Assets, you will be responsible for tracking incoming, outgoing or branch transfer of company assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.

 

You will ensure that all assets recorded in Fixed Assets books, or otherwise, are tagged properly and updated on WASP.

 

You will be responsible for reconciling items of Fixed assets basis physical count for Management reporting. It is your responsibility to keep an updated records of assets, and an open communication with other teams to ensure this happens.

 

You will be in-charge of the actual physical asset count, and prepare report of said activity. You will coordinate with other teams or departments to secure approvals, plot schedules, and overall logistics to conduct a smooth inventory.

 

You will be the front liner in answering inquiry, request, and/or comments from vendors/clients/other departments.

 

You are expected to recommend solutions concerning asset management.

 

You will collect and analyze data to detect weak controls, non-value adding processes, fraud, wastage and come up with corresponding process improvements.

 

You will work with other department in preserving a harmonious intracompany SOPs.

 

You will be responsible in preparing and submitting reports when needed.

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

Typical Qualifications:

 

Education (if beyond High School or equivalent): 

10+2 Years and above

 

Experience Target (in this job or a related function/field): Should have an experience of 2 – 3 years, preferably in a BPO/KPO/IT/ITES, Audit/ Tax Consulting firms

 

Skills/ Knowledge/Abilities:

 

  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must be highly analytical
  • Must be knowledgeable in inventory management system
  • Customer service oriented
  • Able to work fast and independently
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, i.e. excel, Word, ppt.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • A good Team Player

 

IT Support team maintains the computer networks of all programs and support functions in the company, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.

 

  • Selected candidate requires to deal with IT equipment majorly and requires to be technically inclined. PC’s, Printers, Servers and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc).
  • Candidate should be able to identify and understand basic IT equipment terms/names

 

  • Candidate will be provided a training for a short duration to verify if he/she is trainable

 

 

 

Travel Required :

 

Travel to Sites in India maybe required

 

Other:

 

Flexibility to work long hours in case the same is required depending on work pressure
