Job Summary

Focuses on recruitment and selection efforts at the site mainly for operations, but may also work in the following areas: associate relations, HR policy and program administration, compliance, training, HRIS administration and others. Supports delivery of retention initiatives designed to improve associate morale, satisfaction, productivity and retention. Assists the local HR team in delivery of overall responsibilities. Assists in the development of others. Supports management and all associates within the site.

Job Responsibilities

Recruiting -- ensures delivery of qualified candidates to meet staffing needs; participates in  community organizations and events, outreach, job fairs, advertising, other creative avenues to 
encourage applicant flow; partners with Corporate Compensation to conduct research on  competitive employment and pay practices; administers the recruiting process, conducts behavioral 
interviewing, pre-employment testing, management assessments; may administer site associate referral bonus program and job posting; participates in the new hire orientation and induction 
process.


HR administration, site support and development – may cross train in other HR functions to gain understanding and enhance knowledge of HR disciplines; supports all tactical activities when needed  to ensure team success; ensures legal compliance and may support benefits administration, salary  administration, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, relocation activities and reporting (may perform analyses); maintains confidentiality of all HR and employee data; ensures internal customer service and support; may provide training, mentoring and guidance to other HR team members; advances personal knowledge of our business operations; may participate in client visits.


Associate relations -- may provide HR and management training; counsels managers and associates on policy interpretation and application to ensure compliance; assists managers in evaluating associate performance issues and provides direction on corrective actions and documentation; escalates issues and concerns to HR Leader as appropriate; supports policies and initiatives and creates activities to encourage a positive and equitable work environment; ensures open communication opportunities for all associates; responds to inquiries.
Retention initiatives -- supports a variety retention initiatives; reviews attrition reports to understand attrition demographics; conducts exit interviews to understand attrition factors; may assist in administration of associate satisfaction or pulse surveys; may assist with coordinating associate activities at the site.

Position Qualifications:

Time management skills with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple recruitment activities simultaneously. 

Must be flexible and able to adapt to priorities. 

Ability to display initiative in sharing of information and updating information timely. 

Ability to handle confidential information. 

Excellent documentation and communication skills. 

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web based systems (applicant tracking systems, HRIS, etc.). 

Ability to work individually and in a team environment, including virtual team members, to meet firm deadlines. 

Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities. 

Ability to learn system functionality quickly. 

Willingness to learn and overcome daily challenges in a fact paced environment. 

Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks. 

Be able to meet weekly goals and expectations. 

Develop talent acquisition sourcing strategy related to production hiring, recruiting strategies, career fair execution and the candidate experience. 

Partner with business leaders to identify, develop and implement staffing strategies, policies, and programs. 

Provide personal, “hands-on” involvement, direction, and support while being accountable for recruitment initiatives and targets. 

Developing and implementing an effective recruiting strategy, encompassing recruitment of both active and passive candidates to include utilizing the internet, cold-calling and referrals. 

Processing employee applications and conducting in-person interviews to maintain a qualified pool of candidates. 

Helping to position the recruiting team to provide high quality, timely and cost-effective recruitment services. 

Utilizing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to drive networking and candidate pool development. 

Executing an in-depth understanding of behavioral interviewing skills and candidate evaluation techniques. 

Comprehensive and effective utilization of the ATS for sourcing, screening and candidate management. 

Develop, monitor and measure all talent acquisition initiatives to ensure trends are identified and addressed, including, but not limited to, turnover and retention. 

Work Experience:

3-5 years’ experience using staffing tools such as: applicant tracking software, HRIS systems, electronic job boards, social media and candidate sourcing applications. 

Minimum of 3 years as Talent Acquisition Specialist in BPO or high-volume industries. 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related degree preferred. 

Salary Range

The base pay range for this position is up to $45,644 per year ; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
