Financial Analyst

Under general supervision, responsible for conducting and documenting moderate to complex financial analytics and Reporting.

Education (if beyond High School or equivalent):  Minimum Graduation in Commerce. MBA in Finance is desirable.

Experience Target (in this job or a related function/field):  One to three years of financial analysis and reporting experience preferred. Analytics and reporting skills in other fields can also be considered

Excellent Excel and Access skills including links, macros, database development and forms.  Power BI expertise. Accounting technical experience preferred, including consolidations/eliminations, financial statement preparation, equity accounting and exposure to foreign currency translations.  Strong system skills, including prior experience with data extractions and ability to work across diverse systems (Oracle (Essbase), SAP (BPC), etc.).  Strong communication skills.  Previous process improvement experience. Strong analytical skills.

Forecasting and budgeting experience.  Attention to detail.  Commitment to deadlines.  Ability to analyze new accounting pronouncements a plus.  Ability to document processes and policies.
