Job Description: 

JOB TITLE: Telecom Engineer ()




  • Graduates – Engineering or IT Graduates
  • Minimum 3 + years of experience in Telecom domain
  • Avaya / NICE certification would be an added advantage.

Summary of Job responsibilities:


Excellent technical, troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent communications skills – written, verbal and ability to handle all interactions with internal

as well as external clients with professionalism

Ability to adapt quickly to change, communicate positively and work proactively.

Understanding of Network topology and Telecommunications architecture (PBX, Carriers, VoIP)

Should be able to work in Shifts

Dialer knowledge and Workforce Management experience will be added advantage

Web Services and API knowledge and understanding of conceptual use will be added advantage


Essential Functions:


Avaya (Telephony)


  • Well versed with Avaya Aura 6 / 7 platforms.
  • Hands-on experience on Administration of Avaya Telephony Platform (S8300, S8500,
  • S8700 & 8800 Servers; Media Gateways (G700, G650, G450, G350)
  • Administration of Avaya Aura Communication Manager, AES, System Manager and Session Manager, CMS, AAM
  • Administration of Avaya Aura System Manager, IP telephony, H.323, SIP.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Avaya Servers and Gateways.
  • Should be able to implement Complex Call Flow Designing & Implementation.
  • Responsible for performing advanced support and routine complex troubleshooting activities, working independently under minimal supervision.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues with VoIP and SIP.
  • A high level of understanding of common L1-L2 Networking protocols and third party CTI Integrations.
  • Should have knowledge on the SIP protocol.
  • Known to products like Oracle SBC & Avaya SM.

NICE (Recording Solution)


  • Thorough knowledge and proficiency in NICE Engage / Nim 4.1 application.
  • Well versed with Nice AIR & Engage.
  • Should have Knowledge on Screen Recording.
  • Hands on Experience on ROD & RTI Features.
  • Should have worked in Distributed Environment.
  • Knowledge on resolving NIM / Engage issues.
  • Knowledge on Sentinel Monitoring tool.
