We are looking for a talented and accomplished Learning Specialist to be responsible for creating and delivering learning experiences that equip new and tenured associates to excel in their roles. This includes classroom instruction, onfloor mentoring, and one-to-one skills coaching. The role tracks and analyzes agent performance, recommends improvements to training programs, and ensures associates are fully prepared to meet organizational and client expectations.
As a Learning Specialist in this project, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Modify and deliver training programs for representatives/agents and first-line supervisors on new products, services, selling skills, or system changes
- Track and analyze training programs by examining agent performance
- Recommend improvements to existing training programs
- Maintain accurate training records and trackers
- Participate in company engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture
To succeed in the role, you will need to have:
- Native or proficient level of English
- Native or proficient level of Spanish
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Other LMS or training platforms (if applicable)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Portugal
- Be a local candidate or willing to relocate to Porto, Portugal
- Availability to work Hybrid model from our Porto site
- Availability to work from 9AM to 6PM
Education and experience
- Preferably college degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or technical support experience in coaching and mentoring associates, preferably in a complex, fast-paced contact center
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles, training processes, and best practices
- Excellent product knowledge in a specific vertical or operational area
