Job Summary

This role oversees the development, implementation, and optimization of reporting tools, analytics platforms, and automated data solutions used to monitor compliance performance, regulatory exposure, and client contractual obligations.  The Senior Manager leads a team of reporting analysts and BI developers responsible for delivering scalable dashboards, analytics models, and automated reporting solutions that support internal leadership, auditors, and client stakeholders.

 

This role acts as the primary bridge between compliance leadership, reporting teams, and technical developers to ensure reporting solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned with operational and regulatory needs.  The Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring reporting processes evolve with the business and that data-driven insights support proactive risk identification and compliance decision-making.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Reporting Program Leadership

  • Lead the operational management of the Global Compliance reporting and analytics function
  • Oversee development and delivery of compliance dashboards, reports, and analytics across regions
  • Ensure reporting outputs are timely, accurate, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements
  • Establish reporting standards, governance practices, and data integrity controls

Reporting Architecture & Analytics

  • Oversee development and optimization of reporting platforms including Power BI, SQL, and automation workflows
  • Partner with BI developers and data engineers to design scalable data models and reporting architecture
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency
  • Implement tools to monitor reporting data quality, lineage, and governance

 

Compliance Analytics & Insights

  • Drive the use of analytics to identify compliance risks, operational outliers, and performance trends
  • Conduct complex data analysis using statistical and quantitative methods to support compliance programs
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring reporting frameworks provide transparent, defensible compliance data
  • Drive the use of analytics to identify compliance risks, operational outliers, and performance trends
  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights for compliance leadership and stakeholders

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Compliance leaders, auditors, and operational teams to define reporting requirements
  • Partner with technology teams to implement reporting tools and data pipelines
  • Support leadership with reporting insights used in strategic decision making

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Compliance reporting and analytics team
  • Set team priorities and ensure delivery of reporting deliverables
  • Provide coaching and technical guidance to reporting supervisor(s) and data engineer(s)
  • Support capability development and technical skill growth within the team

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate reporting processes to identify opportunities for improvement or consolidation
  • Recommend new reporting methodologies, technologies, and analytics approaches
  • Support development of advanced analytics and automation capabilities across the compliance function

Required Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering reporting solutions within business intelligence or analytics functions
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing reporting, analytics, or data teams
  • Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or risk reporting programs preferred

Desireable

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related quantitative discipline.

Required Technical skills

Essential

  • Advanced experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, governance, workspace management)
  • Strong SQL experience including data modeling and query optimization
  • Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or Python ETL pipelines
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality monitoring, and reporting architecture
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and KPI reporting frameworks

 

Preferred

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with Azure Portal including resource group management, service deployment, and virtual machine configuration
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory for data orchestration and pipeline management
  • Experience with Azure Databricks for data engineering, transformation, and analytics workloads
