Nature and Scope

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Rouen, France. This hands-on role will collaborate with local and global HR teams as well as Business Operations to deliver high-quality, proactive support to the organization. You will ensure compliance with corporate and statutory requirements while managing all aspects of resourcing, employee relations, development, and rewards. Your contributions will be vital in supporting the company’s business objectives and adding value to our workforce

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Organize and optimize recruitment processes, ensuring timely hiring to meet workforce needs.
  • Oversee internal promotions and salary adjustments to foster employee growth.
  • Manage administrative functions, including payroll and employee documentation.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and propose corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to production managers in their leadership roles.
  • Implement and uphold HR policies in alignment with company standards.
  • Maintain effective relationships with employee representatives, health and safety committees, and occupational health services.
  • Advocate for the company's social responsibility initiatives.
  • Inform and implement HR development measures, including evaluations and mobility programs.
  • Participate in and lead discussions with regional employment and training partners.
  • Contribute to the analysis, execution, and implementation of group HR projects.
  • Supervise a multidisciplinary team, including HR, Payroll, and Recruitment functions.
  • Foster the continuous development of team skills and competencies.
  • Monitor HR activities and report on key metrics and outcomes.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong knowledge of local employment legislation and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations and union negotiations.
  • Proven track record in recruitment and human resource management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in people management and team leadership.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both French and English.
