The HR Director is responsible for defining, developing, and overseeing the company’s comprehensive Human Resources programs, policies, and compliance framework, ensuring alignment with both corporate philosophy and regional standards. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across all HR functions. The HR Director will lead a broad HR scope in a high-volume operation, with a strong focus on attrition, engagement, and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Owns the short- to mid-term (1–3 years) HR strategy execution and operational direction, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and regional guidelines
- Defines and executes, in collaboration with each HR Area Manager (Employee Experience, People Analytics, Compensation & Benefits, Labor Relations, HR Operations / Personnel Administration, HR Business Partners & Health & Safety)
- Defines and implements Human Resources programs and policies that support company philosophy and Head Office standards
- Ensures policies and procedures are updated and compliant with institutional and labor regulations
- Leads employee and labor relations initiatives, ensuring effective communication, positive workplace culture, and alignment with organizational values
- Maintains strong relationships with employees, management, and labor representatives to ensure a productive and compliant work environment
- Oversees the coordination and administration of the company’s rewards and recognition programs
- Promotes continuous improvement in employee engagement and development initiatives
- Maintains constant communication, consultation, and coaching sessions with the Regional HR VP, Executive Committee, and Department Directors
- Partners with senior leadership to ensure HR programs drive business performance and employee well-being.
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineers or relative degree
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Senior HR Manager or HR Director in a multinational company leading Development, Talent Management, Labor Relationship, Business Partner Services, Employee Experience
- Strong experience in BPO / Contact Center
- Solid expertise in Brazilian labor law and union relations
- Hands-on leadership style with strategic vision
- Fluent in Portuguese (C1 level or above)
- Fluent in English (C1 level or above)
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to travel is required
