UK Communications & Engagement Lead

Location: Home-based, UK (working only from the UK is permitted)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)

About the job

As the UK’s communications and engagement lead, you will drive engagement initiatives across the UK, providing the strategy, guidance, support to enable local site engagement leads to be successful in fostering employee engagement and effective internal communication, whilst being aligned with PeakOS.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement Planning & Delivery

  • Lead and collaborate on a annual 12-month engagement plan, aligned with Global EverBetter and ESG objectives – utilising Posters, TV screens, EverConnect, Email and EverTeam communication channels.
  • Develop, implement, manage and optimise engagement processes, ensuring consistency across the UK and alignment with PeakOS.
  • Plan and arrange monthly UK townhalls – including finding suitable speakers and presenting at times.
  • Lead on CXperts Challenge to drive engagement, providing business updates, whilst planning and organising quarterly committee meetings.
  • Order monthly Epoints for Each Person, ensuring sites across the UK are able to reward high performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the UK to deliver monthly and quarterly business updates, plus the quarterly newsletter.
  • Lead on UK wide annual campaigns including the MAX annual survey and 12 days of Christmas.
  • Effectively engage with employees at all levels (internally and externally).

 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with, support and provide advice for many stakeholders across the UK including HR, Site Leaders and the other various functions - including Adhoc requests.
  • Meet local engagement at least once per month to provide updates, support, direction and review progress.
  • Engage with several global POCs and attend global forums to ensure UK alignment with initiatives including CXperts Challenge, EverBetter, EverConnect, Frankie, and MAX.
  • Onboard local site engagement leads, ensuring expectations are set and they’re empowered to succeed.
  • Work with the marketing team to provide employee engagement collateral for social media and e-reputation platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

 

Communications Governance & Reporting

  • Manage, develop and communicate monthly reports including the EverConnect adoption report.
  • Measure the success of engagement and communications, with a continuous improvement methodology, whilst aiming to display the ROI and value-add employee engagement delivers.
  • Administer EverConnect Editor Permissions and Audience requests and deliver training when required.
  • Plan and manage UK communications, including the fulfilment of global and UK leadership team requests.

Targets

  • eNPS - annual target set by the UK HR director.
  • EverConnect adoption - 80%.
  • PeakOS audits - Enable site engagement leads across the UK to achieve 80% for Engagement Planning and CXperts.
