We are looking for a diligent and attentive German speaking Content Moderator for a Social Network platform, to join our dynamic team in Athens.

 

As a Content Moderator in this project, your daily responsibilities will include: 

• Review and moderate user-generated content on platform, including but not limited to text, images, and videos.
• Evaluate content against company policies and guidelines, taking appropriate action when necessary, such as removing content or escalating issues.
• Respond to user inquiries and reports of inappropriate content promptly and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to identify trends in content violations and recommend improvements to moderation policies.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Responsible and reliable attitude to secure that the daily adherence plan is being observed.
• Built up effective relationships to colleagues.

To succeed in the role, you will need to have:

• Fluent level of German (C1)
• English skills (desirable)
• Strong understanding of online community standards and user behavior.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in content that may violate policies.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with content moderation tools and platforms is a plus.
• Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Greece
• Be a local candidate or willing to relocate to historic Athens in Greece, since it's an office based position
