As we expand our operations in Greece, we seek a highly skilled Labour Lawyer to provide advisory services on employment and labour-related matters within the Greek legal framework.

This role will involve ensuring compliance with Greek labour laws, handling employment disputes, managing immigration cases, and providing legal support in payroll and hiring processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Labour Compliance & Work Inspection Cases:

• Advise on Greek labour laws and ensure company compliance.

• Represent the company in cases related to Work Inspection authorities.

Employment & Labour Disputes (In & Out-of-Court Representation):

• Manage and represent the company in out-of-court employment disputes.

• Handle in-court litigation related to employment matters, including wrongful termination, employee claims and labour disputes.

• Handle interactions with bailiffs and legal representatives.

Documentation & Legal Procedures:

• Draft, review, and oversee employment contracts, declarations, and other legal documents.

• Issue new hire documentation in compliance with Greek employment regulations.

Immigration & Work Permits:

• Assist in legal procedures related to work visas and immigration for foreign employees in Greece.

• Ensure compliance with Greek immigration laws in hiring processes.

Payroll & Employment Compliance:

• Provide legal guidance on payroll matters, including taxation, employee benefits, and rights.

• Support HR and Finance teams in ensuring labour law compliance in payroll coordination.

Requirements:

• Law degree with specialization in Labour Law, Employment Law, or related fields.

• 5+ years of experience in employment and labour law advisory in Greece.

• Strong understanding of Greek labour laws, Work Inspection procedures, and employment regulations.

• Experience with immigration processes for foreign workers in Greece.

• Ability to handle employment disputes, negotiations, and legal documentation.

• Must be a registered attorney (άδεια ασκήσεως επαγγέλματος)

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Fluency in Greek and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with BPO, multinational, or customer service industries.
